VB Student Living

VB Student Living is a student housing complex in Eindhoven, close to the city centre, shops, restaurants, and public transport. Its architecture preserves a former industrial headquarters within the city’s changing urban landscape.

Until 2001, Philips Benelux and Signify used the building as their headquarters, and it remains Vredeoord’s last preserved structure. Until 1999, it stood as Eindhoven’s tallest building. Today, 456 furnished studios give students private space, while shared kitchens, gender-neutral showers, and toilets support communal living. WiFi, bicycle storage, parking, laundry facilities, a gym, a sun deck, and study spaces serve everyday routines.

Philips de Jongh Park lies nearby, adding green space for walks and quiet breaks from city life. The building’s former industrial purpose still appears in its architecture, while its studios and shared facilities now bring students together.
