Phuket Marathon
Phuket Marathon brings runners to Choeng Thale, Phuket, for a large international race amid the island’s scenic surroundings. Professionals, amateurs, local residents, and visitors share the course, while volunteers and spectators create a lively community atmosphere.
The event offers a 42.195-kilometre marathon, a marathon relay, and a 21.0975-kilometre half marathon. Shorter options include 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre races, plus a 2-kilometre kids’ run for younger participants. AIMS certification has supported its international standing since the first edition, and the marathon serves as a Boston Marathon qualifying race.
Music, food, and family activities turn the race into a full day around the finish line. The range of distances means seasoned athletes and first-time runners can share the same sporting occasion.
