Belvedere Cannone

Belvedere Cannone is a viewpoint on Capri, set above the island’s town, coastline, and sea. From the rocky ground, you can see the Faraglioni rising offshore, with the Augustus Gardens and Certosa di San Giacomo also spread across the panorama.

A climb brings you beyond the busiest central areas, where Mediterranean plants and open terrain surround the view. Few buildings or shops stand nearby, so the setting keeps its focus on Capri’s landscape and the landmarks below. The viewpoint also recalls a cannon once placed here, while visitors often pause for photographs of the Faraglioni.

The clearest scene is Capri arranged beneath you: famous rocks at sea, gardens on the island, and a historic monastery within the same wide outlook.
