Budapest Óriáskereke
Budapest Óriáskereke rises above a Budapest square as a modern circle of enclosed cabins. At 65 metres, it is Hungary’s highest mobile Ferris wheel and has stood here since 2013.
Electromagnetic drive keeps the rotation nearly silent, while 42 cabins carry four people each. As you climb, the view opens across rooftops, bridges, domes, the river, boats and busy streets. The wheel first appeared here before spending time at the Sziget Festival, then returned as a lasting part of the cityscape. Its wheelchair-accessible design makes the quiet ascent available to more visitors.
Each cabin forms one of 168 places above the city at once, turning everyday Budapest into a panorama beneath you.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Budapest. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
