Naturschutzgemeinschaft Sylt e.V.
Naturschutzgemeinschaft Sylt e.V. operates in Braderup on Sylt and connects nature conservation with environmental education. The organisation began its conservation work in 1924.
Originally named Verein Naturschutz Sylt e.V., it merged in 1978 with Bürgerinitiative Sylt e.V., which opposed the Atlantis high-rise project. That history links advocacy with local environmental action.

The centre also provides a setting for learning about Sylt’s coastal environment and sustainable development. Braderup places the organisation beside the Wadden Sea and the Braderuper Heide nature reserve.
