TD Berlin
TD Berlin is a free theatre in Berlin-Mitte, housed inside a former telecommunications office. Its historic setting frames contemporary drama and experimental performance. Modern spoken theatre and post-dramatic forms shape its artistic programme.
Founded in April 2003 by directors and actors, the venue created space for independent theatre work. Premières of contemporary drama formed its early focus. In-house productions and guest projects connect it to Berlin’s free theatre scene.
Anti-illusionist work breaks familiar boundaries between performers and audience. Classical pieces receive contemporary treatments beside experimental projects and related spoken-theatre disciplines. Supermarket language such as “New”, “Sold Out” and “Out of Stock” reflects theatre’s economic realities.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Berlin. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
