ACUDkino
ACUDkino is a cinema inside Berlin’s ACUD art and culture centre, reached through a lively backyard. A stairwell leads you to a cosy foyer on the second floor. Independent European and German productions share the programme with documentaries and short films. Many screenings use original versions with German subtitles, while weekend programmes welcome children and families.
The surrounding ACUD centre grew from a gallery project begun in 1990 and became a multifaceted cultural venue. The centre officially took shape in 1991. Extensive renovation led to a reopening in 2004, with the cinema among its cultural spaces. Political change around 1990 forms part of the building’s history. Regular festivals and events create meeting points where filmmakers engage directly with audiences.
The programme also mixes in-house productions with collaborative projects and unconventional formats. Historic wooden folding armchairs and numerous film posters give the cinema its memorable character.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Berlin. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
