Parusakawan Palace stands in Bangkok as a historic mansion built for Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanath and Kateryna Desnytska. Construction began in 1903 and ended in 1905. Beyrolepi became the principal architect after two earlier architects fell ill, shaping a residence that combines Eastern and Western styles. Katya designed the surrounding gardens herself.
After the couple divorced in 1919, the Crown received the palace. Bangkok’s political changes brought another role in the early 1930s. The building then housed the Prime Minister’s Office until that office moved elsewhere in the late 1930s.
The grounds now contain the National Intelligence Agency and museums devoted to Thai police history. The police museum, founded in 1930, presents crime evidence, Royal Thai Police history, and changing police roles across historical periods. Exhibits on the first and second floors include a replica of the Nirantarai Buddha statue and photographs of royal family members connected with police affairs.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Bangkok. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
