Kneippanlage
Kneippanlage stands in the Maisental of Bad Urach, beside the Wanderparkplatz Wasserfall P23 in the Swabian Alb. Cold water gives hikers a brisk pause among wooded slopes and walking routes.
The facility follows the hydrotherapy principles developed by Sebastian Kneipp, a Bavarian priest in the nineteenth century. You walk through the water, which can stimulate circulation and invigorate the metabolism. Trails nearby lead towards Urach Waterfall and the ruins of Hohenurach Castle, with routes for casual walkers and experienced hikers.
The setting combines a simple water treatment with access to the region’s natural landmarks. Bare feet, cold water and a forest valley make the experience immediately memorable.
