Kinepolis Antwerpen
Kinepolis Antwerpen stands in Luchtbal, northern Antwerp, as a cinema complex with twenty-four screening rooms. It opened as Metropolis in October 1993. Construction began on 1 June 1993, and the public entered before the second wing was complete. That opening reshaped Antwerp’s older cinema scene. Barco Escape sends selected images across three screens, while ScreenX extends projections onto side walls. Star Trek: Beyond demonstrated Barco Escape there.
The complex provides 7,368 seats, with auditoriums ranging from 182 to 694 places. Leonidas and Belgium’s first Burger King add food stops inside. Four multifunctional rooms join the screening rooms for seminars, congresses, premieres, private screenings, and stand-up comedy. Free parking serves about 2,500 cars beside public transport connections.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Antwerp. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
