Artillerymen's Memorial
Das Artilleristen-Denkmal steht im Company's Garden in Kapstadt und erinnert an südafrikanische Artilleriesoldaten des Ersten Weltkriegs. Eine montierte Kanone und eine Gedenktafel prägen den Ort.
Als Teil des Delville-Wood-Denkmals verweist die Gedenkstätte auf den Einsatz südafrikanischer Truppen im Krieg. Der Company's Garden reicht bis ins siebzehnte Jahrhundert zurück. Damals diente er als Erfrischungsstation für Schiffe am Kap der Guten Hoffnung. Die Kanone ist eine Haubitze, die Granaten in hohen Winkeln abfeuern konnte. Dadurch eignete sie sich besonders für den Grabenkrieg.
