Torre Garcini. espai municipal
Torre Garcini. espai municipal is an eighteenth-century masia in Barcelona’s Guinardó neighbourhood. Its basilica-shaped structure has a central section, two lower side wings, and an eastern gallery.
Joan Gordi owned the property in 1739, before the Garcini family acquired it in 1802. A chapel dedicated to the Immaculate Conception followed in 1803. Flowers and plants once grew here for sale on the Rambla. Inside, rooms surround a large central hall, while the garden contains a well and trees.
The eastern gallery has square pillars, moulded capitals, and semicircular arches beneath its former open roof. Ceramic roof tiles, hydraulic floor tiles, an oven, a fireplace, and the well form part of the planned restoration. The 1,570-square-metre estate is being shaped for public uses, including reading, games, cooking, and digital learning.

The myTuur app is free, and once you are standing at a spot its story starts by itself.
Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Barcelona. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.
What is myTuur?
