Große blaue Konstruktion II

Große blaue Konstruktion II stands north of Science Park I on the Ulm University campus in Ulm, Germany. Gerold Miller’s steel sculpture rises in vivid blue.

Created in 1989, the geometric work entered its campus setting in July 1990. Its minimalist form leaves empty space visibly active. The blue construction draws your attention to the space within and around its angular structure. That contrast makes absence as tangible as steel.
