Rosennobelgärten

Rosennobelgärten is a compact park beside the historic city wall in Überlingen, covering about 0.2 hectares. Green lawns, seating areas and a quiet setting make it suited to a pause or gentle stroll.

A newly created path climbs towards the Rosennobelschanze plateau, bringing you close to restored wall features. Embrasures and machicolations show how this masonry once served the city’s defence, while the lawns and path reflect its later transformation through the Landesgartenschau green network plan.

From the plateau, you can look back across the gardens and along the wall. The contrast between old stonework, fresh paths and open grass gives this small corner of Überlingen its character.
