Maria Speranza Nostra

Maria Speranza Nostra is a living parish church in Italy, shaped by community life more than stone. The Missionaries of Mary Most Holy Consolata guide its worship, pastoral work and welcoming spaces.

In spring 2025, the church became a jubilee church after an opening Mass presided over by auxiliary bishop Alessandro Giraudo on 9 March. A five-stage route leads through silence and reflection: personal examination, the crucifix and Pietà, the Madonna della Speranza, and confession. Its three jubilee appeals ask visitors to let the earth rest, free the enslaved and forgive debts. The parish also hosts consecrated communities, runs the Our Lady of Hope early-childhood school and welcomes youth groups of up to 30 people for short stays.

The atmosphere gathers around announcements, hymns and people lighting candles. Before leaving, find the image of the Madonna della Speranza and consider what hope means to you today.
