Maria Madre della Chiesa

Maria Madre della Chiesa in Italy is an active parish where worship and pastoral service shape community life. Don Igino Mario Golzio leads this parish community. A local male community of the Institute of the Incarnate Word, called San Giovanni Bosco, lives consecrated life here while supporting pastoral work.

Daily Eucharistic adoration takes place in the late afternoon, followed by the rosary and a brief blessing. Weekend vigils and Sunday Masses bring neighbours together for shared prayer. Volunteers, catechists and consecrated members give pastoral service a visible place within the parish.

In 2016, a diocesan public association was established for consecrated people serving as pastoral assistants. Members who left their original institutes renew their consecration and serve parish and diocesan ministries under the bishop’s guidance. At the entrance, familiar greetings and well-known routes to the pews reveal a community shaped by daily belonging.
