Light Show: Spectra
Light Show: Spectra unfolds at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, beside the waterfront and the Central Business District skyline. It combines lasers, illuminated water, projections, and music in a multimedia performance. Since 2017, the production has traced Singapore’s transformation into a cosmopolitan society through four connected acts.
A twelve-metre glass-and-stainless-steel prism anchors the light and water effects. Singular Vision considers Singapore’s origins, while Prism of Diversity follows the growth of ideas. Kaleidoscope brings cultures and technology together. Future Focused turns toward Singapore’s future, completing a narrative choreographed to a symphonic soundtrack by local producer Kenn C.
The performance lasts about fifteen minutes and replaced the earlier Wonder Full show. From Event Plaza, water effects and projections play against the skyline, giving the closing act a distinctly urban setting. The prism remains the clearest physical centre of this story, standing twelve metres above the waterfront.
