San Romolo
San Romolo Apartments stands in Sanremo, within a historic building once known as the Albergo Bomboniera. Nature surrounds the property, while the apartments open towards views of the sea and Ligurian coast. This quieter setting places green spaces beside a building connected to Sanremo’s postwar history.
A conservative renovation preserved the original exterior and the adjacent centuries-old park. Inside, seventeen one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments occupy several floors, with areas from about 39 to 75 square metres. Double exposure brings natural light and cross-ventilation into the updated interiors. Energy class A construction combines the preserved structure with contemporary residential comfort.
The private park includes fitness and wellness areas, plus paths for trekking and cycling. Terraces, an internal courtyard, private parking and customisable cellars add practical features to the setting. The clearest contrast appears between the old façade and the bright, modern spaces behind it.
