Rittergut Schlüsselburg

Rittergut Schlüsselburg is a historic manor in Petershagen, standing beside the Weser on the former Schlüsselburg domain. Its history reaches back to the Prince-Bishopric of Minden. The estate also included the Hühnerberg outwork on the Weser’s right bank, extending its historic domain along the river. Johann Georg von Möller purchased the state domain in 1822. Adolf von Möller established the manor on the outwork, where the two-storey late-classical house appeared in 1848. Farm buildings form part of the same historic ensemble. The estate’s agricultural work includes livestock farming, asparagus sales and the placement of agricultural specialists. Private ownership means the manor itself is not open to the public. Accommodation includes apartments, holiday homes and a large banquet hall, while the grounds combine a courtyard, garden and park. Guests can ride horses, canoe on the Weser and cycle through the surrounding area. Families can find trampolines and table tennis in the grounds, alongside a collection of historic agricultural machinery.
