La Galerie des Enfants

La Galerie des Enfants sits inside the Centre Pompidou in Paris, giving children and families a dedicated space for discovering contemporary art. Interactive exhibitions turn the gallery into a place for looking closely, trying things out and exploring how artists work.

Two original exhibition workshops appear each year, shaped by contemporary artists from fields including visual art, architecture, dance, design, music and writing. Children aged three to ten encounter creative processes through playful displays that strengthen observation and invite experimentation. Adults accompany them, while Studio 13/16 and the Atelier des Enfants extend the Centre Pompidou’s activities to other age groups.

One visit might connect a child with an artist’s practice through movement, making or close observation. The gallery keeps that encounter practical, shared and focused on contemporary creation.

Spots like this one are the stops myTuur strings into tours through Paris. In the app, each story begins where you stand: walk up to a spot and it starts, read it on screen or listen as you go, then follow the route to the next one.

What is myTuur?

myTuur is a free city-guide app. Its tours are built from spots, and each spot carries a story that starts when you get there, to read or to listen to as you like.
