Chiesa parrocchiale dei Santi Martiri Nazaro e Celso stands in Milan’s Quarto Oggiaro district as a Catholic parish church with a restrained Baroque façade. The present building replaced an older church dedicated to Saints Nazaro and Celso, and reached completion in 1622. Its interior follows a basilica layout, with three naves separated by sturdy pillars and only faint decorative traces.
Alterations in 1872 reshaped the original façade and parts of the interior, changing much of their earlier appearance. A fire damaged the interior in 1897, leading to extensive restoration before the church was reconsecrated in 1900. The surviving façade keeps a quiet Baroque character, while the sparse interior makes the building’s layered history visible.
