Pfarrkirche St. Otmar und Juliana
Pfarrkirche St. Otmar und Juliana stands in Attenhausen, a village within Krumbach, Bavaria, and serves as a Roman Catholic parish church. Pilasters, a gable roof, and a basket-arch chancel shape its Rococo exterior.
Around 1620, Attenhausen became a pilgrimage site after Abbot Vitus Schönhainz of Ursberg placed a statue of Saint Otmar inside. Johann Martin Kraemer built the church in 1759. A square-based south tower rises into an octagonal upper section and ends beneath a renewed onion dome.
The right side altar holds Saint Otmar. Franz Martin Kuen’s ceiling fresco depicts the pilgrimage to Attenhausen above the worship space. The ceiling carries that pilgrimage scene.
