Binh Minh Jazz Club
Binh Minh Jazz Club is a small restaurant and live-jazz venue in Hà Nội's old quarter. Inside, drinks accompany live performances in a small, cosy setting. The room brings listeners and musicians together around Latin, funky, blues, and Vietnamese jazz. Its atmosphere stays vibrant and relaxed throughout performances. Local and foreign musicians have appeared on the stage, creating a broad mix of influences. Visitors hear live jazz in an intimate room.
Quyền Văn Minh founded the club after American radio first introduced him to jazz. That broadcast shaped his life's work in Vietnam. He made the venue a meeting place for performers, disciples, and listeners who share the music. His son Quyền Thiện Đắc performs alongside him. Young jazz players also take centre stage, adding new voices to Hà Nội's evolving scene. Those young voices keep the room in motion. A drink and a close stage frame each performance.
