Seufzerbrücke

The Seufzerbrücke is a Frankfurt skyway that connects the north and south buildings of the Neues Rathaus. It crosses the beginning of Bethmannstraße at Paulsplatz.

Its name means “Bridge of Sighs” and recalls Venice’s famous bridge, while this structure belongs to Frankfurt’s own civic architecture. The bridge forms part of the Römer ensemble.
