Platja de Talamanca
Platja de Talamanca is a beach in Eivissa, forming a sheltered cove beside the city. About 900 metres long and 30 metres wide, it offers white, medium-grain sand, rocky edges and shallow water with a gentle slope.
The south to southeast-facing bay usually keeps the water calm, while a sandy seabed includes areas covered by algae. Offshore, a Posidonia seagrass meadow supports marine biodiversity and helps keep the water clear. Showers, bathrooms and a wooden walkway run along the shoreline, with restaurants, hotels and a municipal sailing school nearby. Summer lifeguard points, accessible facilities and the inclusive Un Mar de Possibilitats programme add practical support for visitors with disabilities, while two sections provide smoke-free areas.
You can reach the beach from Eivissa by bus or on foot along the Joan Carles I promenade, or arrive by boat at Marina Botafoch. Free parking is available, and the final stretch at Ses Figueres follows the Pompeu Fabra promenade.
