Punta Sabbioni
Punta Sabbioni is a seaside resort in Cavallino-Treporti, where the Adriatic Sea meets the Venetian lagoon. A wide golden beach stretches beside the water, inviting swimming, shore walks and quiet time outdoors. The lagoon lies on one side, while the open sea extends beyond the other.
Cycling routes lead through the surrounding landscape towards Lio Piccolo and other lagoon settings. You can also sail, row, paddleboard or dive among the protected underwater rock formations called tegnùe. Campsites, holiday homes and hotels provide different ways to stay, with some campsites adding pools, restaurants, shops and entertainment.
A ferry terminal connects the coast with Venice and the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Boats cross the lagoon with views of Venice’s skyline and the surrounding islands. Along the shore, herons and gulls gather near the water, while sunsets spread across the lagoon.
