Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World
Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World lies beneath Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand. The aquarium covers about 10,000 square metres and ranks as Southeast Asia’s largest. Around five million litres of water fill galleries containing hundreds of species.
Opened in 2005, this underground centre combines aquatic exhibits with education linked to Thailand’s formal curriculum. You can see Japanese spider crabs, giant Pacific octopuses, shark rays, African penguins, seahorses, frogs and jellyfish. Conservation displays explain sustainable practices, while behind-the-scenes tours explore how the centre supports ecotourism. Feeding shows and interactive activities bring marine life closer to families and curious explorers.
A glass-bottom boat lets you look down on stingrays, fish and sharks. You can also dive among marine creatures for a closer encounter. The aquarium’s long tunnel leaves thousands of animals swimming overhead as you walk beneath them.
