Hôtel Negresco
Hôtel Negresco është një hotel luksoz në Nicë, Francë, i ndërtuar nga arkitekti Édouard-Jean Niermans. Kupola rozë është shenja më e dallueshme e ndërtesës. Hoteli mban emrin e Henri Negrescos, sipërmarrësit me origjinë rumune që e themeloi këtë vend. Në Salonin Mbretëror shkëlqen një llambadar Baccarat me mijëra kristale. Llambadari ishte porositur fillimisht për carin Nikolla II. Dritarja e madhe e këtij saloni u projektua gjithashtu nga Niermans, jo nga Gustave Eiffel. Gjatë Luftës së Parë Botërore, ndërtesa u shndërrua në spital. Më vonë, familja Augier e lidhi hotelin me artin, dekorimin e pasur dhe mysafirët e famshëm. Sallonet dhe dhomat ndërthurin stile nga Luigji XVI deri te Napoleoni III, përfshirë edhe artin urban. Le Chantecler sjell kuzhinë të rafinuar, sixhade dhe mobilie rokoko. Koleksioni përfshin mbi gjashtë mijë vepra, mes tyre portretin e Luigjit XIV nga Hyacinthe Rigaud dhe bustin e Auguste Renoir. Portierët veshin uniforma me kapele të zbukuruara me pupla të kuqe. Suzy Delair këndoi këtu “C’est si bon”, ndërsa Louis Armstrong ndodhej në publik. Elton John filmoi gjithashtu një pjesë të videos “I’m Still Standing” brenda hotelit. Shteti francez e ka renditur Hôtel Negrescon si ndërtesë kombëtare historike. Nizza dhe Riviera Franceze shfaqen këtu përmes arkitekturës, historisë dhe artit.
