Lourdes-Kapelle stands beside the Ohnsang woodland in Germany, with modest proportions and small-scale neo-Renaissance details. Its compact façade draws attention to the small door and rhythmic windows.

Severina Hauf funded construction in 1889, and a Capuchin father consecrated the finished chapel on 20 October 1890. Moritz Schmid added a ceiling painting in 1891, but the work was later removed. A Stations of the Cross followed in 1894, inaugurated by Franz Anton von Henle, who later became a bishop. In 1914, a beautification association requested a park, and the town supplied 1,000 beech saplings.

The park appears on the 1921 cadastre. Restoration from 1982 to April 1983 cost 24,282 Deutsche Mark and three Pfennig. Hans Beer reconsecrated the Stations in 1984, while Ascension Day field services continue to connect the chapel with communal worship.
