Chiesa di San Moisè is a Baroque Roman Catholic church in Venice, with origins reaching the seventh century. Its dedication to Moses reflects Venetian connections between Catholic practice and Byzantine traditions. The eighth-century bell tower rises beside a façade completed in 1668.

Alessandro Tremignon designed the façade, while Heinrich Meyring is credited with some of its sculptures. Vincenzo Fini funded the work, and his bust appears above the entrance among the decoration. The sculptural programme presents patrons and places Moses at the summit. Nineteenth-century builders removed several statues after their weight threatened the façade. Inside, a monumental altarpiece by Meyring and Tremignon shows Moses receiving the Tablets of the Law at Mount Sinai. Behind it hangs a canvas by Michelangelo Morlaiter.

Tintoretto’s Washing of the Feet occupies the chapel left of the altar, facing Palma il Giovane’s Last Supper. Niccolò Roccatagliata and Sebastiano created the 1636 Deposition for another altar. John Law, associated with the Mississippi Scheme, lies buried within the church. As a parish church in the Vicariate of San Marco-Castello, it forms part of Venice’s religious life.
