Mirador de Miramar is a compact round tower set into coastal rocks beside the Miramar estate in Spain. Stone underfoot and a low parapet frame the open sea. Olive terraces and narrow paths descend behind you, while Na Foradada rises westward with its unmistakable opening. Son Marroig also appears across the coastal view.

Archduke Ludwig Salvator installed this first coastal lookout after acquiring Miramar in 1872. He connected viewpoints with paths and gardens, shaping walks through terraces, rock, and sea views. Miramar began as a monastery founded by Ramon Llull in 1276, with missionary training in Arabic and the ars method. A short path leads toward monastery rooms and museum spaces with maps and traces of the estate’s history. Other small miradors appear among the olives and rocks along the slope. The hollow in Na Foradada remains the clearest detail to hold in your view.
