Natale del Signore is a large, plain parish church in Italy, built for a rapidly expanding residential neighbourhood. Its broad façade and capacious interior reflect that practical purpose. Eight- to ten-storey apartment blocks rose around the community, which first gathered in a converted warehouse.

After the first parish priest, Don Michele Bechis, died in a mountain accident in 1970, Don Sebastiano Galletto led the project. Construction began in 1971 and lasted about three years. Cardinal Pellegrino dedicated the church on 24 December 1974, after community and diocesan support helped fund its construction. A carpenter died after falling from scaffolding during the works.

Today, worship, catechism, youth oratory activities and social initiatives keep the spacious parish closely tied to neighbourhood life. Functional rooms support gatherings and pastoral work. The wide interior makes its purpose visible: bringing people together for worship, education and community care. Service bells and footsteps mark the building’s continuing daily rhythm.
