In Italy, Chiesa dello Spirito Santo gathers a single rectangular nave beneath an elliptical dome. Two curving chapels widen the long walls before the semicircular apse. Fluted Corinthian columns in Valdieri marble support a continuous entablature, while eight oval openings lead upward to the small cupola.

A confraternity founded in the sixteenth century shaped the church, which Giovanni Battista Ferroggio rebuilt in the eighteenth century. Three rows of carved walnut choir stalls form a hemicycle around the central bishop’s chair. The Roman-style high altar combines yellow Verona and green Susa marble, and preserves the relics of Saint Victor. A late fifteenth-century wooden crucifix stands in the Chapel of the Crucifix, while Stefano Maria Clemente’s wooden Addolorata occupies the right altar.

Music remains visible in the carved and gilded organ across the inner façade. Its parapet contains nine panels of instruments beneath the Holy Spirit emblem, held by two angel musicians. Aerial bombing severely damaged the church in 1943, and an inscription on the façade records its restoration during the early 1950s.
