Schloss Quint rises in Germany as a baroque residence with three wings surrounding a rectangular courtyard. A low wall and Gothic-inspired iron gate complete the fourth side, guarded by two cast-iron griffins. Reddish stone accents and balanced façades give the building a quiet, formal presence.

The Pidoll family, connected with local ironworks, built the residence around 1760, with Johannes Seiz and Ferdinand Tietz shaping its details. Seven windows, pilasters, and the carved family coat of arms define the courtyard façade. Seventeen garden-side windows frame sculptures representing agriculture and industriousness, while Chronos occupies the gable and Prometheus raises his torch above it. A grand hall once provided space for gatherings, and the property later served noble and industrial purposes before restoration and adaptation.

A broad staircase leads into the park, where a ginkgo, plane tree, swamp cypress, and magnolia stand as protected natural monuments. Old bridge remains and a chapel ruin add quieter traces of earlier landscapes. The two griffins above the iron gate offer the clearest detail to carry with you.
