Anfiteatro di Bleso stands in central Tivoli, near Rocca Pia and the Scuderie Estensi. This Roman amphitheatre dates from the second century of the imperial age. Built beyond the old Republican walls, it occupied a hillside above earlier pottery workshops. Excavations uncovered finely made objects, including chalices, beneath the later monument.

The oval structure measures about ninety metres along its major axis and fifty metres across. Its arena covered roughly sixty-one by forty-one metres, with a corridor running beside it. Semi-columns and radial walls supported seating for up to two thousand spectators. Opus mixtum construction combines local tuff and travertine across the surviving masonry. A stone dated to 184 AD mentions M. Lurius Lucretianus, who funded gladiatorial games. M. T. Blesus contributed two hundred workdays and two hundred thousand sesterces towards construction.

Medieval records from Farfa and Subiaco abbeys mention the site as Fundum Amphiteatrum. Road construction brought the buried remains to light in 1948. Rocca Pia later destroyed part of the amphitheatre, while the surrounding area became a hunting park and then a garden. Its surviving stonework still traces the arena, hillside seating, and public spectacle of Roman Tivoli.
