Garnisonsschützenhaus stands in Stuttgart-Degerloch beside the former Dornhalde shooting range. Its Swiss-style architecture combines white sandstone foundations, brown timber framing and red brick infill.

Built in 1893, the building served the Royal Garrison as a canteen with an attached target workshop. After the Second World War, it became a restaurant and later provided residential space for almost forty years. The protected monument now belongs to a group of former shooting-range buildings, including a nearby guardhouse and overseer’s residence. The Dornhalden cemetery occupies part of the former range, where traces of shooting lanes remain visible.

A clock tower once held a storm bell above the two-and-a-half to three-storey main building. The workshop annex has cross windows and a wooden roof sheltering its entrance. Nearby, a wooden equipment shed preserves the practical character of this historic military site.
