Kontorhaus am Markt stands in Bremen’s city centre, beside the historic Bremer Marktplatz. Its three-storey façade combines neo-Renaissance design with local architectural motifs.

Richard Bielenberg and Josef Moser designed the building for the Disconto Company between 1910 and 1912. A double-arched market-side pediment frames an open Gothic arcade. Ten sculptures rise above the arches on columns, while allegorical figures surround the Langenstrasse entrance. Major alterations followed in 1966, when Deutsche Telekom used the premises as offices. In 1999, the building became a shopping mall with offices and service centres above.

The market façade preserves ten sculptures above its paired arches.
