Torre de los Perdigones rises in Seville as a 58-metre industrial tower beside Parque de los Perdigones. Modern homes, offices and the Faculty of Dentistry surround the surviving structure. Its brickwork once formed part of the San Francisco de Paula foundry, where workers produced lead pellets, refractory bricks and zinc sheets. The public garden now places this industrial landmark within a green urban setting.

Lead melted in a furnace at the top fell through sieves, cooling into round pellets before reaching water below. Gravity shaped each pellet. The foundry operated until the 1950s, after which demolition left the tower standing alone among changing neighbourhood buildings. Earlier uses included a defensive lookout, a river landmark and an observation post during the Spanish Civil War.

A camera obscura occupies the upper level and projects a live panoramic image of Seville onto a white screen. The view reaches from about 45 metres above the ground.
