Palazzo Borea d'Olmo rises in Sanremo as a major civic palace in western Liguria. Its late-medieval core supports the palace’s Baroque appearance. The Borea d'Olmo family shaped the building's history through civic service, diplomacy, administration, and local leadership. Large marble portals frame the palace’s main entrance. Its ceiling shows dancing angels above the historic room. Historic guests included queens, kings, artists, and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. War and an earthquake once damaged the building. Its surviving architecture joins Renaissance details, Baroque decoration, family memory, and Sanremo’s civic history in one urban landmark.
