Brekši Manor stands in Riga’s Brekši neighbourhood, extending historically toward Dreiliņi near Lake Jugla. Its main house still rises around a tower above the entrance. Traces of the former park remain around the building.

Its history reaches back to the seventeenth century, when the area belonged to Swedish Vidzeme. Older references connect it with Dreiliņu or Hermsa Manor, also known as Harmshof in German. Until the 1920 land reforms, the Freytag von Loringhoven family held the estate. After expropriation, the house became Dreiliņi’s eight-year school and later Riga’s 83rd secondary school. Following Latvia’s restored independence, Riga Brekši Primary School used the building. School closure in 2001 left the manor abandoned.

A fire damaged the house in March 2008, and fencing now surrounds the site. The tower, entrance and surviving park traces preserve a clear outline of the former estate. The nearby Piķurga River meets Lake Jugla, linking the building with the landscape that shaped its early history.
