St. Cäcilia is a three-aisled neo-Romanesque basilica in Germany, built around 1900 for sacred music and worship. Red brick and shaped stone define its facade. A tall western tower rises above broad entrance steps, while wheelchair access welcomes visitors.

Friedrich Niedermayer designed the church on Franz Xaver Haberl’s initiative for the nearby Catholic music school. Inside, painted arches and stained-glass windows scatter coloured light across the simple nave. The Pietà Chapel holds Guido Martini’s figure, while a Romanesque mural shows Christ ruling the world above the altar.

Music continues through the organ, installed before completion and followed by the 1939 instrument with its sweeping facade. Its powerful sound fills the interior with a broad musical presence. The bells follow the notes of “Caecilia”, joining sound, architecture and devotion in one memorable detail.
