Neupfarrkirche is a bright stone church in Germany, standing on the site of a medieval Jewish quarter. That ground once held homes and a synagogue.

After the Jewish community was forcibly expelled, the city built a Marian chapel and later began a larger stone church. Pilgrims gathered around the chapel, drawn by reports of miracles.

When pilgrimage declined and funding ran short, construction stopped, leaving an unfinished building that later became a Protestant parish church. Salvaged materials entered parts of the unfinished structure.

Renaissance simplicity meets surviving Gothic detail across the exterior, while a rare double-spiral staircase occupies the south tower. The name Neupfarrkirche belongs to the later church.

Inside, a distinctive pulpit clock remains visible. The church has an organ tradition reaching back to the early sixteenth century.

Archaeological remains beneath the square reveal parts of the former Jewish quarter and synagogue. These remains connect the building with Jewish life, forced removal, religious change, and remembrance.

The Neupfarrkirche is recorded as wheelchair accessible. Its walls hold several layers of architectural and religious history.
