Xhamia e Llapit stands in the northern part of Pristina’s old city centre, Kosovo. This historic mosque combines thick sandstone walls with a distinctive octagonal dome. Pedestals rise from ground level to support it, while a minaret follows the same robust style. Colourful interior murals add a vivid contrast to the stone structure.

The building is associated with Ramadan Pasha and is also known as the Ramadanie Mosque of Llap. Its original purpose remains uncertain within the recorded history of the building. Some accounts suggest it began as a church before becoming a mosque in Pristina’s old centre. The floral murals are considered rare examples of sixteenth-century Islamic art. The 1999 conflict burned the structure, but it survived without complete destruction. Restoration in 2009 rebuilt wooden doors and windows and renewed the intricate paintings.

The courtyard, once a quiet place for reflection, now serves as a car park beside the restored building.
