Bulevardi Nëna Terezë runs through central Prishtina as a broad, car-free promenade between Parliament, the University, Grand Hotel, and Mother Teresa Cathedral. Students, families, and travellers fill the pavement throughout the day. Benches, monuments, and open space bring everyday life together with the capital’s public memory.

By evening, street musicians, public readings, and spontaneous concerts turn the promenade into an outdoor stage. The surrounding streets carry conversation. A side street toward the National Theatre holds the kafet e rakisë, small bars where people talk, debate, watch, and laugh over strong coffee from morning until night. Te Martini became a meeting place for artists, journalists, neighbours, and other free spirits.

Along the route, monuments honour Skanderbeg, Zahir Pajaziti, national heroes, political figures, and saints. The surrounding cafés keep tables filled with clinking glasses and conversation. From a bench, you can watch a lively public space where present-day voices meet memories of Prishtina’s past.
