Villa Kellermann stands in Potsdam as a historic architectural landmark with a layered civic and private past. Its two-and-a-half-storey form carries a mansard roof. A trapezoidal bay window marks the exterior, while redesigned lighting combines historical character with LED technology. Original wall paint and stucco remain visible inside.

Friedrich Wilhelm von Hardt commissioned the villa in the 1910s as his private residence. Emil Wittenberg later owned the property. His forced flight followed the rise of the Nazi regime, and the villa was seized in 1938. The Wehrmacht used the building until the Second World War ended. After the war, the Potsdam Cultural Association turned Villa Kellermann into a cultural venue. Artistic events filled its rooms during that period.

Günther Jauch acquired the property in 2015 and commissioned its restoration with Ester Bruzkus Architects. The renewed interiors combine historic elements with new floors, mirrors and upholstered furniture. The Alte Fritz Salon retains its original wall colour and stucco. The Green Salon and Blue Elephant Salon use distinct colours and decorative schemes. A later transformation made the restored villa into a restaurant associated with Günther Jauch and chef Tim Raue. Regional cuisine formed part of that restaurant concept.
