Filmpark Babelsberg stands in Potsdam’s Babelsberg district, within Babelsberg Media City beside the historic film studio. Original sets, exhibitions, and film-focused attractions let you explore filmmaking through 4D and XD cinema experiences. Stunt shows unfold in a fifteen-metre volcano arena, while a Western show and Snapshot Factory add live action. A children’s area inspired by Jim Knopf includes slides, a high-ropes course, and a water playground.

The neighbouring studio began production in 1912 and became home to films and television productions. After German reunification, a film and television experience opened there in 1991, followed by a studio tour and stunt show. Filmpark Babelsberg also holds a restaurant themed around Prinz Eisenherz, with original props from the film. Original set pieces from Sonnenallee, The Baader Meinhof Complex, and Monuments Men make the filmmaking history tangible.
