Evangelische Kirche Friedewalde stands in Friedewalde, a district of Petershagen in North Rhine-Westphalia. This brick basilica was built between 1854 and 1856 to a design by Friedrich August Stüler. Its eastern choir closes on three sides at the end of the nave.

Inside, wooden beams cover the nave, while the choir carries a ribbed vault beneath its eastern end. Pointed arch arcades open the side aisles towards the nave, with galleries above them. A restoration between 1918 and 1928 added a new west-side roof turret to the nave’s gable roof.

The turret combines a clock tower and a bell tower beneath a pyramid roof. Its bell was cast in 1666. Reliefs by Hans Sebald Beham decorate the western façade, including scenes of the Fall of Man. The congregation belongs to the Minden church district of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia.
