The Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris occupies the former private residence of Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart. Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart created this setting.

Architect Henri Parent designed the mansion, which became a showcase for their growing art collection. The house opened as a museum after Nélie Jacquemart’s bequest.
