Mairie du 2e Arrondissement is a historic town hall in Paris, with classical architecture and Renaissance-inspired elements. Paul Lelong began construction on Rue de la Banque in 1844, planning a sequence of public buildings. He died in 1846, before completing the commission. Alphonse Girard, his former subordinate, finished the building in 1852.

It first served as the third arrondissement’s town hall under Paris’s earlier district system. Reorganisation in 1860 assigned it to the second arrondissement. It is one of four arrondissement town halls built before the Second French Empire, alongside those in the fifth, sixth and ninth.

In 1982, France added the façade, roof, lobby and wedding hall to its supplementary inventory of historic monuments. A competition in 1879 shaped the ceremonial room. Charles-Gustave Huillard won the architectural design, while Georges Moreau de Tours painted allegories of Marriage, Family and Sacrifice for the Fatherland. The paintings were installed there in 1882. In 2020, Paris Centre united the first four arrondissements, and the building became the Solidarity Workshop, a social services centre.
