The Église du Saint-Esprit is a Catholic church in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, set between avenue Daumesnil and rue Claude Decaen. Its triangular site lies between those two roads. Paul Tournon designed it with Byzantine influence and reinforced concrete.

Construction ran from 1928 to 1935, after Cardinal Dubois acquired the land in 1927. Funding difficulties initially slowed the building work. After Dubois died in 1929, Bishop Verdier resumed construction despite the earlier delay. The central dome measures 22 metres across and rises to 33 metres. Openings around its base admit daylight, yet the interior remains notably dark.

Red Burgundy brick covers the exterior, while frescoes, mosaics, sculptures and stained glass fill the interior. Artists from the Ateliers d’Art Sacré created these works. The frescoes follow the church’s history from Pentecost to the twentieth century across seven periods. A Gloton-Debierre choir organ was inaugurated in 1934. Interior decoration gained monument historique protection in 1979, and the building received historic-monument designation in 1992.
